Late at night when moonlight falls,
Creatures of the night find holes in your walls.
They eat from your pantry, they crawl ‘round your bed,
They might even crawl around on your head.
But don’t be scared, don’t be alarmed,
They aren’t there to do you harm, or eat your face, or gobble your toes — why they show up, nobody knows.
So sleep tight, and pleasant dreams.
These slithering beasts aren’t as bad as they seem.
